Calgary web design company, BlindDrop Design Inc. is celebrating their 20th Anniversary, which commemorates 20 challenging and empowering years in business. This is a huge milestone for the Calgary, Alberta incorporated business. It has provided Calgary Web design services, managed Web hosting and digital marketing services to professionals, small businesses, corporations & organisations since the turn of the millennium.
BlindDrop Design Inc. got it’s start in 2001 when founder Lucas Arnatt saw the opportunity to help other local Calgary businesses and organisations create their online presence. Lucas worked as a freelance Web designer and then with a Web agency in downtown Calgary for a number of years prior to starting BlindDrop.com.
One of the earliest challenges BlindDrop Design Inc. faced was the time needed to get established and build up the core clientele. In 2003, Mr. Arnatt moved his young family and company back to his hometown of Cochrane, Alberta, just west of Calgary. His wife, Jessica Arnatt, played an important role as lead graphic designer, providing branding, logo design and graphic design services.
BlindDrop continued to serve Calgary clients and won the Cochrane Business of the Year Award in 2004 and has since helped many of Cochrane’s new and established businesses with professional web design and hosting solutions.
In 2007, BlindDrop started CochraneBusiness.com, a local online directory that provided listings for over 850 Cochrane businesses and organizations. Today, CochraneBusiness.com focuses on premium featured directory listings.
While every business of course faces challenges, some, like BlindDrop Design Inc. are fortunate enough to enjoy real successes, wins and victories too. Today, BlindDrop Design Inc. is a premium managed hosting provider, offering custom Web design and digital marketing solutions across Canada. They continue to host clients who have been with the Calgary company for all 20 years of service.
